Here at Bethany Lutheran, we support ministries in our own community throughout the year with either monetary funds or volunteering. We feel that supporting these local programs in our own community is an important way of showing the love of Christ Jesus to our neighbors. Below is a link for some of these groups. Brown Bag Ministry
Feeding the Homeless Each week our Brown Bag Ministry prepares lunch bags that are distributedto the homeless by local nonprofit organizations. Each lunch is created tofeed the body and share the good news of God’s love and salvation throughJesus. Bethany Sewing Ministry
This year the women have been busy once again. This group is so diligent each and every week coming to the church and sewing these blankets. And each year they along with other donations of clothing and food supplies are packed into a tote, delivered to Seattle and put on a boat headed to Naknek Alaska and the Mission work there where people come from all over the world to fish. Women’s Missionary Federation
Bethany’s women’s group is organized under the model of the Women’s Missionary Federation (WMF). Together, we study the bible and support mission work around the world.
